How can cosmetic dentistry straighten teeth and eliminate spaces?
The short answer is with orthodontics (tooth movement), crowns and veneers, or a combination of both.
I have one very large space between my front teeth. How can I eliminate it?
The fastest way to eliminate the space is to divide it among four to six teeth. In other words, instead of making two front teeth very large and wide, the large space is distributed over a longer distance. This results in four to six teeth being slightly larger and the look is very natural. Of course, orthodontics with traditional braces or Invisalign can be used, but treatment time will be much longer and color, shape, and size of teeth will not be improved.
What about multiple spaces?
The same concept mentioned above will be used, but more teeth are usually involved. Complex cases with many spaces may require a smile makeover with as many as ten veneers.
